
About Me.
Lucas Stanley Casinha Thomas (he/him) is a Canadian, artist based in Toronto, Ontario and is majoring in Drawing and Painting, for his BFA at the Ontario College of Art and Design University in Toronto, Ontario. His practice focuses on the Female Portait and "The Gaze" installation and painting in an expanded field. His work is deeply informed by the cross pollination of classic and moden technique; combining both new and old to subvert the portrait is unique and sometimes disturbing ways.
